Full Participant

  • Active participation on June 18th.

  • Participants receive a minimum of 45 minutes of podium time with string quintet and piano.

  • Video review will take place on June 21. 

  • Masterclass:

    • Maestro Palmer will conduct a comprehensive masterclass covering essential knowledge for conductors, and addressing any questions participants and auditors may have.

  • Participate actively in Off-the-Podium sessions, receiving coaching on:

    • Brand Development: Cultivate and refine your personal brand as a conductor or musician.

    • Marketing and Public Relations: Acquire practical strategies for promoting yourself within the music industry.

    • Culminating Activity: Co-hosting a Cocktail Reception: Network and showcase your abilities at a reception for concert donors.

  • One performance and three partial rehearsals of a masterwork with a 41-piece professional orchestra.

  • Participants will have the opportunity and ability to record their portion of their participation on 18 June 2024 (participants are welcome to bring their own recording device.)

  • The rehearsals and performance will be held in the historic and exquisite setting of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, a venue esteemed for hosting performances by renowned groups such as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and other distinguished ensembles.

  • Full participants will receive a certificate of participation signed by the Artistic Director and Executive Director.

Partial Participant

  • Active participation on June 18th only.

  • Participants receive a minimum of 45 minutes of podium time with string quintet and piano.
